GameSquare Esports has congratulated Complexity Gaming and TimTheTatman’s Tailgate for being nominated for the Tempest Awards.
Complexity Gaming has been recognized as a finalist in the Esports Team of the Year category with TimTheTatman’s Tailgate nominated as a finalist in the New Event of the Year category. Additionally, Jason Lake, founder and CEO of Complexity Gaming, will receive a Lifetime Achievement in Esports award. The Tempest Awards shine a spotlight on the innovation driving the competitive gaming industry. This year, the Tempest Awards will be held on November 2, 2022, in conjunction with the 2022 Esports Business Summit at the HyperX Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Complexity Gaming was acquired by GameSquare Esports in June of 2021. Since then, GameSquare has invested in Complexity’s platform by signing leading streamers and content creators including TimTheTatman, Cloakzy, and the Baka Bros, and has strived to continue to add female content creators which are now at parity with male creators.
