The Esports Awards presented by Lexus, the most prestigious night in the esports calendar, has announced that Coca-Cola is returning as its Official Beverage Partner.
As part of the partnership, Coca-Cola will be teaming up with Top Golf to provide an exclusive VIP activation. Attendees will be able to enjoy Coca-Cola products and create content as they gear up for a night of celebration at the Esports Awards on December 13.
Coca-Cola will also once again be presenting the Esports Personality of the Year Award which honors someone who has contributed to the esports industry as a whole in a large way over the past year. Last year saw Free Fire star and founder and CEO of Fluxo Bruno “Nobru” Goes take home the award. Additionally, during the Esports Awards ceremony Coca-Cola will also unveil its brand new League of Legends Wild Rift designed cans. These limited edition collectibles will be featured across the US starting in January 2023 and will feature five of the game’s Champions.
Esports Awards and Coca-Cola first partnered in 2021 where together they hosted an exclusive activation at Six Flags Over Texas where esports personalities Velly Cardwell, Sean ‘Spaceman’ Rogers and Rachel Seltzer took part in some special challenges. Coca-Cola’s return to the Esports Awards showcases its deepening commitment to the esports industry as it aims to create special moments and bring people closer together.
“It’s always an honour to welcome back a partner for another year. Last year together with Coca-Cola we were able to create some very special memories for our attendees, and I look forward to doing it again in Las Vegas for 2022,” Michael Ashford, CEO of Esports Awards, said.
“We’re excited to partner with Esports Awards again to honor and celebrate the best and brightest stars in the industry. Coca-Cola is proud to play a part in the lives of gamers across the world and we’re excited to continue delivering refreshment and upliftment during your gaming moments for years to come,” said Jason Rawlins, Senior Manager, Entertainment at The Coca-Cola Company.
