On the path to pro. New Fortnite talent for BIG Selecta: Diego “Kr4t4y” Scheiben strengthens the talent programme of BIG and Philips OneBlade
Berlin International Gaming (BIG) and Philips OneBlade today announce the signing of Diego “Kr4t4y” Scheiben as the latest addition to their joint talent programme BIG Selecta. The 17-year-old Fortnite player was selected through an intensive casting process run in partnership with Philips OneBlade.
At the heart of the talent search was the new Philips OneBlade Body Royale Fortnite map, developed specifically for the community and playable across Europe by amateur and professional players alike. The map is available at playbodyroyale.com and directly in Fortnite via map code 4692-8677-1152.
Using the map, several players qualified for the Philips OneBlade x BIG Selecta bootcamp and a subsequent 1v1 tournament, from which Kr4t4y emerged as the winner.
Diego has been playing Fortnite actively since 2021 and has shown a steadily rising performance curve. Among his recent achievements is a strong 7th place finish in the Duo Division Cup final against some of Europe’s best players. With his signing as a BIG Selecta talent, the aim is now to systematically guide him towards the top of European Fortnite competition.
BIG Selecta is BIG’s Fortnite talent development programme. Its goal is to identify young players early on, support them with structured development and offer them a long-term perspective in professional esports. The programme is built on a close integration of community activations, competitive formats and professional support from the BIG coaching staff.
The collaboration with Philips OneBlade and FUSE forms the foundation of the current Body Royale campaign. Through the interaction of brand, club and agency, an authentic activation is created that meets both the needs of the community and the requirements of modern talent development. Over the coming months, BIG, Philips OneBlade and FUSE will continue to expand the programme together and support Kr4t4y closely on his path in esports.
