Oddin.gg, a leading B2B provider of eSports odds feeds and risk management, has joined the International Betting Integrity Association (IBIA). The company provides its partners with an end-to-end eSports betting ecosystem reaching from eSports odds feed to live betting content.
Oddin.gg currently has licenses in New Jersey, Colorado and Ontario and is seeking additional licenses in the United States. Oddin.gg joins around 50 companies and over 125 leading sports betting brands in the IBIA and further cements the association’s position as the world’s leading operator-run integrity monitoring body.
“Joining the IBIA is a significant milestone for Oddin.gg,” the Chief Executive Officer for Oddin.gg, Vlastimil Venclik, said. “It not only validates our commitment to maintaining the highest standards of integrity in eSports betting but also aligns us with a globally recognized leader in betting integrity. As we expand our operations in key markets like the United States, being part of the IBIA’s robust monitoring network will enhance our capabilities in safeguarding the integrity of our eSports betting products. This collaboration underscores our dedication to providing a safe and fair betting environment for our partners and their customers.”
“IBIA is thrilled to have Oddin.gg as a member,” the Chief Executive Officer for the IBIA, Khalid Ali, said. “Oddin.gg is a leading global player in the eSports betting environment and the company’s decision to join the IBIA reflects its desire to utilise the best integrity protection available globally for its eSports betting products. Through our world leading betting integrity network, we will work in close collaboration to protect the eSports betting products and services offered by Oddin.gg to its sportsbook partners.”
The IBIA is a not-for-profit body that has no competing conflicts with the delivery of commercial services to other sectors and is run by operators for operators to protect regulated sports and eSports betting markets from match-fixing. The IBIA’s global monitoring network is a highly effective anti-corruption tool, detecting and reporting suspicious activity in regulated betting markets.
Through the IBIA monitoring network, it is possible to track transactional activities linked to individual customer accounts. The IBIA’s Q3 2023 integrity report detailed 50 alerts reported in the quarter; the association’s Q4 and annual report for 2023 will be published in the coming weeks. The association reported 268 alerts to the authorities in 2022, with successful sporting or criminal sanctions against 15 teams, officials or players where the IBIA had reported suspicious activity on their matches.
