BLAST.tv, a revolutionary live viewing platform, has successfully launched the beta app for both iOS and Android platforms during last week’s BLAST Premier Spring Groups event in Copenhagen, Denmark.

In late 2022 the esports entertainment company launched BLAST.tv, a radical new way to watch and enjoy esports, which has since enjoyed growth across viewership, visitors and registrations.

This success has seen BLAST introduce the platform across iOS and Android during last week’s Spring Groups, with over 3,500 downloads during the week, allowing fans to watch and follow a tailored esports experience wherever they are, whenever they want.

BLAST.tv brings fans closer to the action, serving up maximum excitement for esports lovers, with a number of innovative features on offer, helping them watch events live like never before as well as reliving the highs and lows of past tournaments.

Tom Greene, Chief Operations Officer for BLAST, said: “We are delighted with the reception BLAST.tv has received from the esports community since its launch at the back end of 2022. The platform has attracted over 130,000 registered users from 142 countries, posted a peak concurrent viewership of 27,000 and welcomed 2.2 millions users across 2023. We are really proud of these numbers that all go to show the interest and demand fans have for a more tailored esports viewing experience.

“Introducing the beta app for mobile phones is the next step in that evolution and will allow Counter-Strike fans to follow their favourite team on the go without losing that fan-first approach BLAST.tv prides itself on.”

BLAST.tv’s live experience is tailored made for the competitive esports audience. Fans will never miss a key moment of the action with the BLAST.tv interactive timeline feature, which catalogues standout highlights to be replayed instantly on the playback timeline. The platform has a custom built video player with 4K capabilities and a moderated live chat that will enable fans to connect with a like-minded community, where fans will be able to impact the events unfolding before their eyes through interactive polls, earn BLAST.tv points for rewards and more.
