It highlights the most important esports titles, leagues and markets based on betting turnover in 2023, along with actionable insights from Abios Founders Oskar Bonnevier Fröberg and Anton Janér, as well as Abios’ Head of Sales Niclas Sundell.
The most prominent esports titles have seen significant growth in 2023. League of Legends saw 6.4 million in peak viewership, a figure outlined by a 25% YoY growth. Moreover, Counter-Strike saw several subsequent records tied to their player base ahead of the release of CS2. At its highest point, Counter-Strike saw 1.8 million concurrent players in 2023.
The FPS title has seen significant traction in betting as well. Abios has released an esports betting report entitled “Abios Leaderboard 2023”.
