4Elements is excited to announce the first esports event organized together with the British Army Esports Club. The event will feature the 4Elements professional Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, League of Legends and Call of Duty teams playing against their British counterparts in this three-day esports tournament taking place between 19 March 2021 and 21 March 2021.
With this event, 4Elements is measuring itself for the first time against a military esports team. The British Army has an extended esports offering for its soldiers. Esports in the British Army has already brought together over 2000 soldiers from across the globe, playing casually and competitively.
Esports helps developing friendship, leadership and communication skills, all representing important features of a functioning team. Esports is further supporting the development of certain management, military and strategic thinking skills.
“4Elements has a large British community and the fact that we are playing at a competitive level against the British Army is an interesting way to further engage with our British fans and provide them with unique content”, explained Paul Helder, CEO of 4Elements. For an organization like 4Elements there is always a special interest in measuring our competitive players and teams against members of one of the world’s foremost military forces”, he added.
