Digital payment solutions company Neosurf has partnered with Riot Games and become an official partner of the Oceanic Pro League (OPL).
“At Neosurf we are proud of our products which make it simple and safe for gamers to pay for the things they love online. By supporting the OPL, the teams and the players our aim is also to support the fans of League of Legends here in the Oceanic region and enable them to get even more enjoyment from the game they love,” Andrea McGeachin, Chief Commercial Officer of Neosurf, said.
“Neosurf has ambitious plans in Australia and New Zealand and ambition is one of the key attributes we look for in a new partner. This partnership will bring esports fans in the region deeper, more engaging content that will elevate the overall viewing experience. We can’t wait to get started,” Daniel Ringland, Head of Riot Games in Oceania, said.
OPL, the leading esports league in Australia, is having a strong growth this year with an average of 35,000 local views per match day. In addition to being the Official Partner, Neosurf will be the Presenting Partner of the OPL Playoffs and Finals.
“At Neosurf, we have enjoyed a very successful partnership with Riot Games across Europe. The opportunity now to extend this into the Oceanic region is an exciting move for us and we look forward to cementing our relationship even further,” Andrea McGeachin added.
