The first invited team has been announced.

WePlay! Esports invites the esports fans to Kyiv (Ukraine) for a new esportainment show called WePlay! Dota 2 Tug of War: Mad Moon.
The tournament dates & format
Group Stage
February 19 – 20
The group stage consists of two GSL-style groups. The winning team of each group is seeded directly into the upper-bracket semi-finals, the losing team is eliminated, and the rest of the teams are seeded into the upper-bracket quarter-finals.
Main Event
February 21 – 23
Players compete in a double-elimination bracket in accordance with the seedings from the Group Stage.
Event tickets
Visitors of weplay.tv will soon be able to download a free ticket to attend the Main Event at VDNG.

Eight teams will be participating in WePlay! Tug of War: Mad Moon:

  • Ninjas in Pyjamas (the winner of WePlay! Dota 2 Tug of War: Radiant – Europe)
  • Infamous Gaming (the winner of WePlay! Dota 2 Tug of War: Dire – Americas)
  • Royal Never Give Up (the winner of WePlay! Dota 2 Tug of War: Dire – Asia)
  • Natus Vincere (the winner of WePlay! Reshuffle Madness 2019)
  • Team Secret (direct invite)

The remaining three participants will be announced soon.
Prize pool
The participants of WePlay! Tug of War: Mad Moon will be competing for the prize pool of $300,000.
Prize pool distribution:

  • 1st place: $130,000 and 🏆
  • 2nd place: $60,000
  • 3rd place: $30,000
  • 4th place: $20,000
  • 5-6th place: $12,000
  • 7-8th place: $8,000
  • **MVP-Core: $10,000
  • **MVP-Support: $10,000
