eSport experts share essential information about unique moment in the online gambling industry at CEEGC 2019.

An incredible growth for eSports betting between 2019 and 2026 with is predicted with key players such as Pinnacle Sports, Bet365 Sport, 888 Sport, Paddy Power, Ladbrokes, William Hill, Betway and Betfair, all lining up for their fair share.
There is no doubt that the target audience is the new generation, the millennials, for whom this is clearly a turning point in history of online gambling. Just by taking a look at the winners of the most popular eSports events in 2019, we can see that these players have won more prize money than the traditional sports like golf and tennis.
For example, the winners of Dota 2’s The International 2019 and the Fortnite World Cup were paid more per-player than the winners of Wimbledon and The Masters this year.
With more support than ever being thrown behind aspiring esports athletes, it might not be too long before more young people recognize Johan “N0tail” Sundstein than they do Novak Djokovic. While the treatment of players in eSports still requires some work – one needs to look no further than Tfue’s dispute with FaZe Clan to see that there are still plenty of missteps involved in growing the scene – it is without a doubt a fixture of sports in general now.
As esports becomes a more legitimate pursuit for young people who find they have a natural ability at competitive games, it is entirely possible a much bigger influx of talent to enter the scene over the next few years.
Coming back to the industry, just a couple of days ago, ISFE, the Brussels-based organisation representing Europe’s video games industry and the European leaders of the global eSports industry have united to launch ISFE Esports, a new group that brings together the key stakeholders and major players of one of the fastest-growing and most exciting industries in the world, with a global community of hundreds of millions of people who actively play, compete in, or watch eSports each year.
Video games publishers, developers and their communities are the very foundation of eSports. Their games and players generate an ecosystem that includes media services, tournament organisers, teams, professional players and fans. ISFE’s sister organisations in the U.S. (ESA), Canada (ESAC) and Australia and New Zealand (IGEA), are proud to support the launch of ISFE Esports and to be part of a global alliance with a united voice to represent the eSports industry.
At the 2019 edition of CEEGC Budapest, which will take place on the 24th of September, we are bringing together some of the most influential companies of the gambling industry from all spheres and among the compliance, tech and several vertical related discussions, you can find The eSports movement which is not to be missed” panel discussion.
