It might be the most addictive game created in the last five years …
But fortnight isn’t only fun to play, it’s fun to watch. YouTube ‘reruns’ of battles, top kills, noob fails and countless other titles are a huge hit with Fortnite fans. And just like CS: GO, DOTA, StarCraft, and League of Legends, the top sports betting sites are hopping on board as well.

“Every single game is different. I’m talking to thousands of people every day … playing with my friends across the world. Every day’s different; that’s what makes Fortnight so much fun.” – Ninja

And it’s true, with up to a 100 players building and blasting there are so many moving pieces and so many different strategies going on that each game is unique, and with that many players online, especially if you are playing random squads, you have the opportunity to converse with people from all walks of life and age groups.
But who are the best teams in the business? Ok, so probably any squad that Ninja is on … even his star-studded celebrity teams where he teams up with pro athletes and such, tend to end up #1 Victory Royale! But which pro teams are the most successful?

FaZe Clan

So it shouldn’t come as a big surprise that some of the top ‘franchise’ teams in other arenas are also the most successful in Fortnite. It shouldn’t be said that FaZe is the most successful, as they have only entered a few tournaments. That said, they have already pulled down nearly $30,000.00 at events such as Katowice and WSOE 3. Then again, they’ve only been at it since November of 2018 … so we are bound to see these guys get their fair share of wins in the future. Especially since they boast Tfue on their roster who is widely regarded as the best player (along with Ninja) in all of Fortnight.

Team Liquid

Right now the roster is 72hrs, Poach, Chap, and Vivid. In Duo play alone, Liquid has already pulled $82,500.00 out of prize pools. A big chunk of that came from winning the Fall Skirmish Series Week 5. They have also looted $37,000 in solo, thanks to Vivid being a beast and taking 3rd place at the Secret Skirmish (solo) back on February fifteenth.

Ghost Gaming

Ghost Gaming has a large roster of rotating players but a few of the usual suspects are Dmo, Bizzle, Kamo, Issa, and Thwifo. They took 1st place as a squad (Bizzle, DMO, Snood, and Thwifo) at the Microsoft Store NAC and FN Pro League NA Season 1 (Bizzle Dmo, Zamas, Saf, and Ghoul). With somewhere in the neighborhood of $65,500.00 in Fortnight winnings, Ghost Gaming is making a case for itself as a top team.

SoloMid

Like FaZe Clan, SoloMid hasn’t competed in a squad tournament yet. But, THey have already snatched up $48,000.00 by coming in 3rd at the Katowice Duos just a few days ago on March 3rd and Vinny1x grabbed the team an additional 20 large by winning the solos in Katowice as well. They only have two prize pool placements, but the two wins they have are quite substantial.

Team Secret

Team Secret puts Europe on the Fortnite map with an all-star squad of players. They took 6th at the Polaris LAN Pro Series and snagged 1,600 Norwegian Krones and just a month before they took 9th in the Fall Skirmish Series EU Week 1 for $8,750.00. Mongraal also won the Cooler Cup with February for a cool 200 Euros.  They haven’t snagged as much of the prize pool pie as some of the North American teams … yet. But with players like Mongraal, Domentos, Osmo, and Milan, they are bound to be one of the most successful Fornite squads coming out of Europe.
