The organizers reveal the participants of EPICENTER series closed qualifiers.
European closed qualifier stage of EPICENTER in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive is to take place on 30-31 October. Out of six invited teams, only one will get a chance to advance to the series’ LAN-final in Moscow.
The participants are:
Virtus.pro – the legendary tag returns to the pro scene with new blood on the team. Multiple-time champion of ESL Major series;
Mouz (mousesports) – European professional team, the champion of last year’s ESL One: New York 2018;
CR4ZY – Serbian org, this year’s champion of DreamHack Rotterdam in CS:GO.
North – Danish team, the champion of EPICENTER 2016 in CS:GO;
Tricked – Danish team, the bronze winner of this year’s Esports Championship Series Season 8 this October.
Heroic – Danish org, previously played under the banner of SK Gaming. This year’s silver winner of DreamHack Rotterdam in CS:GO.
Overall, eight teams are to participate in the event: three more teams will be decided via regional qualifiers in Europe, CIS, and China. The tournament’s group stage will be held 17-19 of December 2019, culminating in a grand finale taking place 21-22 December in “Crocus Expo” exhibition complex. The series’ prize pool – $500 000.
